I opened them up to find that they smell like ketchup which is making me gag.

Weird! I wonder why would they smell like ketchup? Well, I like both of them (ketchup and mini eggs) and could devour both pretty easily. When I get some mini eggs, I tend to eat them ravenously and in an hour or two. YUM!
